Landscape from Pylos

The picture Landscape from Pylos is a fused glass artwork inspired by the view of the coastline from the hill above Pylos, where the historic fortress rises. From this elevated point, the sea, land, and light unfold in broad layers, transformed in the work into an abstract rhythm of color and movement. Fragments of blue, turquoise, red, amber, and white create a multi-layered composition, while transparent and opal glass elements add depth and shifting reflections, evoking the luminous atmosphere above the Ionian Sea.
