The Rocks of Navarino

A unique kiln-cast glass sculpture inspired by the monumental coastline of Navarino Bay, as seen from the hills of Pylos.

Through layered translucency and sculpted relief, the work evokes the interplay between stone, sea, and light. Deep blue tones suggest the depth of the Ionian Sea, while the textured surface recalls rock formations shaped by time, wind, and salt.

Balancing density and transparency, the sculpture conveys a sense of quiet strength and equilibrium. Conceived as a singular work, it unfolds fully in spaces where light plays an essential role.
