Fire Dance

This fused glass artwork interprets the Nestinari fire dance as a ritual state in which individual experience becomes part of a collective spiritual act. Rather than depicting figures, the composition conveys a sense of presence — concentrated, directed, and charged with inner energy.

Dominant reds and golden fields create a dense visual environment in which light appears to be held and pulsating from within. Contrasts with cooler tones introduce depth and rhythm, echoing the alternation between movement and stillness within the ritual itself.

Through the fusing process, individual elements merge into a unified structure where boundaries dissolve. The work does not represent the dance, but its condition — a moment of focus, transition, and connection between the human and the unseen.
