Morning over Sinanitsa

This fused glass artwork is inspired by the landscape surrounding Sinanitsa Peak and Sinanitsa Lake in the Pirin Mountains. Rather than depicting a specific view, the work interprets the atmosphere of early morning — a moment of stillness, light, and the gradual unfolding of mountainous space.

Cool blues, translucent surfaces, and reflective textures evoke water, air, and rock, referring to the lake and the sharp geometry of the peak. Saturated accents introduce an internal rhythm, suggesting the first emergence of light and its reflections within the landscape.

Through its layered glass structure and interaction with light, the work does not construct a landscape but a state — a visual experience of transition between night and day, density and transparency, characteristic of high mountain environments.
